RECOVERY MAINTENANCE FOR SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER (SUD)
You’ve done the hard work to get into recovery. You may be in early-recovery or in long-term recovery; in either case, you know that recovery is a life-long journey. It does not have to consume you and it certainly does not define you, but it does demand attention and maintenance.
I do not view SUD in a silo and understand the many ways it can impact various aspects of one’s life. Oftentimes when people use substances, it is a response to trauma, mental health symptoms, relationship issues, or daily stressors. Once the substance use stops, you can more clearly see all the stuff hiding beneath.
That’s where our paths meet. If you’re ready to start working on the complexities beneath the substance use, you’re in the right place. Together we will briefly explore how you got to this place, hone in on your strengths, and equip you to move forward, all while carefully navigating triggers and implementing realistic, healthy coping skills.
Please note: I currently work with individuals that are in recovery and have not actively used in the past 3 months. If you are currently using, feel free to reach out and I will help you find an appropriate provider.
